Realms Divided is a free, browser-based idle RPG where death is a door, not a wall. Live a life: work the tavern board, raise a hold, craft steel that remembers every fight. When the marsh, the arena or old age finally collects you, choose the next life's race, faction and path, and carry a legacy forward.
A life in Realms Divided runs on one honest clock: twelve real hours are one game year, and every race carries its own lifespan. Between birth and the wheel there is work worth doing. Tavern jobs and guild contracts pay the purse, seven gathering disciplines and eight craft disciplines turn the realm's materials into gear whose rarity rolls when the bench finishes, and a hold grows from a temporary camp to a kingdom on treasury gold. Companions share the road: hired at the tavern, equipped from your own satchel, and dispatched on errands of their own while you are away.
The realm does not stand still while a life runs its course. Dawn and Dusk bank war points for every field victory, clans found banners, raid rival rosters and feed the faction war, and the arena lets anyone enlist their saved build for asynchronous duels with shareable replays. Some weeks the whole server swings at the World Boss; the deep delve floors keep named wardens and a weekly board. When a life ends, the Chronicle remembers it: the story advances across lives, Side Roads reshuffle their quests, and the rebirth panel opens the race, faction and challenge-path choices that shape the next run.
Everything above stays free. The game is funded by unobtrusive ads and an entirely optional supporter pass whose perks are conveniences only: ad removal, a longer offline window, extra cosmetics. Coin never buys power in Realms Divided. Not stats, not gear, not odds.
Key features
- Reincarnation with challenge paths. Every death opens the wheel: pick the next life's race, faction and lifespan. Harder roads pay deeper: burden-and-boon pairs and mortal mode earn exclusive titles and a permanent honors record.
- The Chronicle with Side Roads. One story runs through the realm in chapters, told strictly in order and seeded so it plays the same every telling. Side Roads are the per-life quests that reshuffle each time the wheel turns.
- Callings. Combat disciplines are callings: guardian, berserker, ranger, mage, healer, scout. A soul holds at most three at once, and Dawn and Dusk keep skill lines of their own.
- Character sheet and loadouts. A painted portrait, lifetime ledgers, gear with rolled rarity, gems, sockets and counted repairs. Saved loadouts swap a whole kit in one click.
- Party Dispatch. From the hold's dispatch desk, companions take errands on their own. They bring back their share, spend morale doing it, and level with every run.
- Offline progress. The realm works while you are away and greets you with a while-you-were-away summary. Progress continues offline for up to 2 hours, 4 with the supporter pass.
- Settlement and dwellings. A camp becomes a town, a city, a kingdom. The treasury earns by the hour, buildings are bought with treasury gold, and dwellings keep a population whose taxes follow.
- Crafting and the market. Eight disciplines across the forge, lab, altar and workbench; the rarity roll lands when the craft finishes. Blueprints, gear sets, reforging and sigils deepen the ladder. The player market is taxed two percent, and listings carry their enhancement, rarity and gems to the buyer.
- Arena duels with shareable replays. Enlist and others may challenge your saved build. A duel is staged like any task and plays out on the clock, and every bout can be replayed and shared from the fight history.
- The World Boss and the Delve. Some weeks the realm grows something large and the whole server takes its few swings a day. Under every hold, the Ancient Ruins delve goes down forever, one solo floor at a time, with named wardens every fifth floor.
- Dawn vs Dusk: the war, clans and realm news. Two sides keep score all season. Clans fly a banner, share a stash and raid rival rosters each week, feeding the faction war. When a season closes, champions are titled and the realm news chronicle archives it, forever browsable.
